IT WILL BE FOR A WHILE BROTHERS
I remember we used to walk our way to church
hunger and thirst do not overcome us, as long as we have each other.
We used to share our victories and comfort each other whenever papa would persecute or question our ministry.
I remember we got each other's back, we used to laugh hard about our experiences and excited when it's already Sunday. I used to hear you at dawn sobbing and praying.
I used to see you reading the bible, and writing your devotional
You used to ask thousands of questions about the verses and I gladly answered it,
I used to see you always holding the bible and carrying it with you.
I used to see you smile and I feel content with it.
I used to feel protected because you are always by my side.
You were the one, who understands me.
Sometimes you correct my ways.
And I learned so much from it.
I remember that time when we hugged each other and cried knowing that Christ is already in us.
How did it happen?
What happened to us?
Why did you forget all of those times?
How did you forget Him?
Now, we're living in one roof but I am like a shadow.
You stare to me is if I am dirt or trash.
We never talk, we never laugh.
I'm the only one crying at dawn.
The bible is all dust and left at the bookshelf.
Not a word that I heard from you, even greetings
I saw you with your phone or watching movies
I saw you now, always anger and talk about your foes at work
I saw you always frown, and snobbish
I am walking alone, BUT NOT ALONE
HE NEVER LEFT MY SIDE
As long, His here beside me, I know you will be back
I will still speak of His goodness because this is just for a little while
I will be strong until I will see you again serving Him, MY BROTHERS.
